Ruben Ojeda is a Director for View Capital Advisors, LLC. Ruben specializes in Global Macroeconomic Analysis and the identification/design of financial products and investment strategies which enhance asset management practices and investment portfolios for institutions and ultra high net worth families. Prior to joining View Capital, Ruben was with Wells Fargo and UBS assisting ultra high net worth Latin American families and institutions with investment strategy and portfolio construction. He obtained extensive investment banking experience as a Director of Operadora de Bolsa S.A.’s Corporate Investment Banking group, and as a Managing Director for Smith Barney’s Latin American Investment Banking division. Ruben began his career as the Director of Banking Information and Statistical studies for the Treasury Department of the Mexican Federal Government (“S.H.C.P.”). Ruben also acted as Managing Director at CEES, a leading economic think tank in Mexico.
Ruben Ojeda completed the PH.D program for Economics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, he was an adjunct professor and research assistant at the University of the Americas, Harvard University, Universidad Anahuac and ITAM.
